I am a 2nd year photography student currently working toward a career within the industry. I like documentary photography, capturing images from todays society, story telling with pictures! I am naturally inquisitive and the camera allows me to see into people's lives, capturing forever on film what would otherwise be a fleeting moment of emotion.

Born in North Yorkshire, Chris moved to Devon in 2004. Working primarily in black and white, Chris initially trained as a graphic designer before discovering digital photography to complement his photoshop skills 7 years ago. He has no specific genre but has a large collection of european architecture and is currently specialising in trees, woodland and panoramic landscapes. He has exhibited his photography throughout Devon. Chris also is an artist who works in pencil and ink and also makes abstract Stained Glass panel commissions.

The natural world is full of surprises and discovering them is only limited by our powers of observation. There is so much more to see than meets the eye and this is what I try to discover and capture in my photographs.

I have exhibited at Hazelwood House near Loddiswell, Birdwood House in Totnes, ArtRooms in Totnes. A selection of work is currently on show at Random Gallery in Bude.
