English Heritage is currently running a campaign to stop the rot of conservation areas, through concreting gardens, putting in PVC windows and allowing decay.

The South Devon area of outstanding natural beauty enclosing the lower Dart valley stops at Bow Bridge, though we could press for it to be extended to Crowdy Mill, now that extensive tree planting in the lower Harbourne valley has made it really beautiful.
